Yesterday our 4H club spent the day cleaning, painting and repairing the goat/sheep pens at the North Stonington fairgrounds. We have been doing this as a club for several years; for the first time in 3 years it didn't rain! The barns are starting to really look great! We ran out of stain so if the Fair Association finds more we will go back on the next sunny day and finish staining. We did finish raising the height of the pens so that the goats and sheep can't escape!
We have another busy week shaping up. I think there is only one day this week that doesn't have something going on. We have two doctor appointments, one vet appointment, some girl scouts events, a field trip to the zoo, and a Memorial Day parade to get ready for! Sam starts his new part-time job this week too! Phew!
