Farmer's Market

I am going to the farmer's market this morning! Not as a seller, but as a buyer. My brother is getting married in a week and since he and his future wife are nature/health nuts, I figure the farmer's market might be the best place to find some neat "all natural" gifts.

Last night I attended a "poisonous plants" lecture. It was well done and well attended. They covered plants that are poisonous to alpacas, goats, sheep, cows, and horses. One interesting thing I learned is that Red Maple leaves are toxic. Particularly, if they are wilted. The discussion of the Red Maple tree reminded me that we need to flag our maples so we can find them in February.
