Yesterday started early as we had to get all the animals fed and milked by 7:30 AM. Sam drove in around 7:45 from working at the firehouse, ran in the house, changed out of his uniform, and ran back out to drive us to the Southern Rhode Island 4H goat show. We arrived and I spent the next 3 hours judging kids and goats. I think I did okay.
We left Rhode Island around 2PM. When we arrived home Sam simply switched over to his car and drove to Tractor Supply to work his 6 hour shift. The girls finished the last of their packing for camp before milking and feeding the animals.
When everything was finished up at the house we drove to the Lebanon Town Green for the annual Summerfest. They had bikers making balloon animals, a moonbounce, face painting, and a DJ playing music under a tent.
We met up with the Rodger's family who had Samantha in tow. She seemed to have had a great time at camp and somehow, she looks older. We also chatted with the Wood's family, the other Wood's family, the Johnson's, the McCall's, and the Pavlich's. The fireworks were spectacular, as usual. We were home a little after 10PM and a little after Sam had been home from work.
Today, the four older girls all leave for camp!
