Saturday and Monday, the girls and I moved everything from the basement to either the living room or my office:
Tuesday Sam removed the carpeting. Wednesday my brother John came down and using a floor sander with a diamond plate disk, sanded off all the glue residue and put down the etching solution.
Tomorrow morning the new epoxy floor will be put down and hopefully by Monday, everything will be back where it belongs.

That is a big project right before a holiday. Hopefully it turned out well and looks great!

He did work, but only on Thursday. He said he had fun. Several people from the community stopped by with food: a turkey, a pumpkin pie, an apple pie, and a platter of pastries. And only a few minor "nuisance" calls.
Oh and remember how excited we were that he had Christmas off this year? He informed me that a transfer list is coming out on Dec. 1... We are praying he isn't on it!
