First we had seven eggs in an incubator. Five hatched but only four survived. We'll know in a few weeks if we have roosters or hens. Hens will be put with the flock; roosters will be raised for a few months and then either butchered or shipped to the auction.
Last weekend Shish K. Bob went to the slaughterhouse, where his hanging weight was a whopping 130 pounds! This morning we picked up Stew E. Veal!
